The Activator walking poles have been conceived by a geriatric occupationnal therapist to facilitate physical rehabilitation. These poles are made specially for post-operation recovery, those suffering from soft-tissue injuries, from Parkinson's disease, repurcussions of strokes, multiple sclerosis, chronic pains, vertebral injuries, cancer recovery, or simply for people of mature years. These poles are generally best suited to safely assist with balance, strenght and stability when walking.

These walking poles are made of solid aluminium, and can be adjusted for people between 127 cm (4 ' 2 ") and 182 cm (6 '). The tips can be adapted depending on the walking surface. The poles have a bell-shaped removable rubber tips for added stability on hard surfaces. For soft or icy surfaces, the tips can be removed and the metal tips can be used.

These poles hold a weight up to 113 kg (250 lbs).
